It is an honor to play- Three Lobed Recordings’ Sweet Sixteen Spectacular!!!

TLR16-Facebook-Square-B

Three Lobed Recordings is proud to present a daylong showcase to celebrate its sixteen improbable years of existence. Similar in scope and purpose to the Three Lobed day shows during Hopscotch at Kings, this show was organized as a loose celebration of all of the various sorts of sounds that the label has been associated with over the course of its existence.

Come out and enjoy a relaxed day of experimental music alongside some like-minded friends.

More details, exact schedule, etc. very soon. Tickets are currently on sale at the link above.

(Related note, if you are coming in from out of town and would be interested in seeing if we could put together a discounted hotel block at a local hotel [like the Raleigh downtown Sheraton, a few short walking blocks from Kings], please let us know. We have initially looked into the idea but had no idea what sort of demand there would be and didn’t know what size of a block to look into. Drop us a line if this is something that appeals to you…)

Bardo Pond appearing @ATP 2.0 APRIL 2016 CURATED BY STEWART LEE

ATP Stewart Lee c 2016_NEWS

“Of all the ATPs I’ve attended, the 2001 weekend, when Tortoise curated it and laid American free jazz, European improv noise, alternative country rock, alienating stand-up comedy, ambient electronica, Eighties hardcore, Seventies CBGBs nostalgia, smart-arse post punk, Dutch anarcho-jazz and all manner of unexpected cross-currents on curious young people, remains a pivotal point in my musical education. It’s a great honour to be allowed to attempt something similar. Bring bucket, spade, swimwear and an open mind.”
Stewart Lee

It’s an honour to be invited to this event. Stewart Lee is one of the best.

He has achieved more for world peace than any politician has.

Thank you Stewart, Thank you ATP
